Catalytic Aerosol: More Power-Less Pollution

Diesel owners and operators are continuously seeking better ways to harness the maximum production from their equipment. Emissions Technology has developed a Combustion Catalyst System that addresses the core problem of inefficient combustion inside the combustion chamber.

The Combustion Catalyst Systems use the same principle as a catalytic converter, but attacks the source of the problem inside the combustion chamber versus trying to catch the problem after the combustion event in the exhaust. The catalytic properties of platinum, when delivered to the right place at the right time, significantly enhance the combustion process in order to convert pollution into production.

The injection process

An aerosol mist of catalyst is injected into the engine’s air intake duct via our engineered catalyst delivery system. The aerosol enters the combustion chamber blending into the air mixture. As compression heats the air, the catalyst reacts with the entering fuel increasing its ability to be consumed in the power stroke and generating more energy before going into the exhaust mode.

The reason why Emissions Technology’s Combustion Catalyst is so effective at harnessing the fuel energy of the engine is because it introduces the catalyst in the right form, in the right amounts, in the right place and the right time-INSIDE THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER. If someone is trying to obtain significant fuel savings, get their emissions down to compliance levels, optimize fleet production and cycle time, and extend their engine life, it can only be accomplished by optimizing the use of their fuel.  Therefore, they must utilize fuel during the power stroke more efficiently.  Fuel burned in the exhaust evacuation process is wasted energy that turns potential production into pollution.
